My Story
I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona—raised by strong Mexican-American women who showed me what hard work and resilience really mean. My grandmother helped my mom raise me, and I saw the same story in my neighborhood: women grinding, sacrificing, and holding it all together for their families. That spirit is in me, and it’s the foundation of Baddie Barbers Club.
When I stepped into the barbering industry, men looked at me like I couldn’t keep up. But I knew one thing—if I wasn’t sharper with the clippers, I had something they could never match: a woman’s touch. My attention to detail, my customer service, and the way I make clients feel seen and confident is something no man could ever compete with.
I started out at Supercuts, learning the basics and putting in the work. Then I moved to a shop that wanted to limit me—black shirt, plain jeans, no self-expression, no style. For someone who loved fashion, makeup, and individuality, it felt like being boxed in. Even haircut times were cut short, like passion didn’t matter.
So, I left. I walked away from a secure manager role, started my own LLC, and became an independent barber. It was the best decision I ever made. Out of that leap of faith, Baddie Barbers Club was born—not just a brand, but a movement.
Baddie Barbers Club is for the women who want to feel confident, sexy, and unstoppable behind the chair. It’s for the ones who refuse to blend in, who bring their culture, their style, and their power into every haircut. Whether you rock a crop top or a tee, this brand is about making women of all sizes feel bold, beautiful, and unapologetic.
Now, as a mother to my own daughter, my “why” is even deeper. I want her to grow up knowing she can chase any dream, take up space in any room, and never apologize for her shine. Baddie Barbers Club is for her, for me, and for every woman carving out her place in this industry.
We’re not just cutting hair—we’re cutting through stereotypes, breaking barriers, and proving that baddies belong at the top of this industry.
Welcome to the club. ✨💈
